In November 2009, Service Continuous was acquired by Gallos Metal Solutions Inc., a company owned and operated by James Gallos, the previous Vice President/General Manager of Service Continuous since the year 2000. Jim graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago in Metallurgy and started his career in heat treating at Illinois Gear in 1974.
Throughout Jim's extensive career, he has expanded his vast heat treat and metallurgical knowledge to many areas including, but not limited to: automotive, agricultural, aerospace, and medical products.
In 2016, Gallos Metal Solutions Inc. added additional equipment and processes that are complementary to heat treating and are often performed in conjunction with heat treating. This facility now provides in house clamp tempering, shot peening, glass beading, and grit blasting. Gallos Metal Solutions Inc. also provides double disc grinding via a facility in Carol Stream, Illinois.
